Commercial registration
A valid commercial registration showing animal import or trading activity, in line with the competent authority's requirements.
Shipments of sheep, goats, cattle and camels are subject to Saudi competent-authority approval and health conditions that may vary by species, origin and disease situation. Reservation and shipment timing should therefore not be fixed until the active import permit and its written conditions have been reviewed.
Notice: This is a commercial and operational guide. It does not replace the import permit or the current instructions of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, customs or other competent authorities.
The buyer or importer in the Kingdom leads the destination-side permit and lawful receipt process.

A suitable shelter, farm or facility; approval or inspection may be required depending on the activity and procedure.
Importer account, establishment data and an authorized representative to submit and follow the application.
Entry port, receiving point, farm capacity and destination-side transport arrangement.
A purchase request must be converted into verifiable execution conditions.
Match species, sex, quantity, weight or age and visible condition to the approved quotation.
Complete the tests, vaccinations, quarantine and identification required by the import permit.
Obtain the government veterinary health certificate, certificate of origin and any required quarantine or laboratory certificates.
Verify animals, identification, documents and transport data before loading.
Import permit, establishment information, authorization and customs-broker documents.
Health certificate, quarantine certificate, test results and vaccination records as required.
Invoice, consignment specifications, certificate of origin and packing details where applicable.
Bill of lading or vehicle manifest, arrival notice and insurance when included.
The consignment is subject to document review, veterinary inspection, quarantine procedures and customs formalities at the port. A mismatch in conditions, quantity, identity or health status can cause delay, detention, re-export or rejection according to the competent authority's decision.
Regional Livestock Bridge's responsibility ends at the written delivery point; the buyer handles clearance and local transport when they are not included.
The quotation must state destination transport, vehicles, timing, offloading and proof of delivery.
Adequate space, water, feed, reception or isolation area and labor for unloading and checking.
A signed record confirms quantity, condition, place, time and documented exceptions.
